1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a mobile application. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to the site operators. Similar technologies including pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage serve comparable functions and are covered by this Policy.

2. Who sets cookies on the FixClin platform?
FIXCLIN TECH S.R.L. sets first-party cookies directly on the Platform. We also use a limited number of third-party cookies set by service providers acting as our data processors under GDPR Article 28. All third-party processors are bound by Data Processing Agreements. We do not permit third parties to use cookies for their own independent purposes on our Platform.
3. Categories of cookies we use
3.1 Essential cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They do not collect personal data for marketing or analytics purposes. No consent is required for essential cookies under applicable law.
Legal basis: Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — necessary for the secure and functional operation of the Platform.

3.2 Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how Users interact with the Platform — which pages are visited, how long Users stay, and where errors occur. This data is aggregated and anonymised where possible. No individual User profile is built from analytics data.

FixClin does not use:

- Social media tracking pixels that report your activity to social networks.
- Fingerprinting or device tracking technologies beyond what is listed in this Policy.
- Any cookie or technology designed to identify you without your consent.
5. How long do cookies last?
Specific cookie names, durations, and providers are listed in the cookie declaration table maintained at fixclin.com/cookies and updated whenever our cookie usage changes.
- Session cookies: Deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a set period, typically between 30 days and 12 months, or until you delete them manually.
6. How to manage your cookie preferences
6.1 On the public website today
The public FixClin website at fixclin.com currently sets essential cookies only (for example, language preference and admin sign-in where applicable). We do not set analytics or marketing cookies on the marketing site at this time, so no cookie consent banner is shown.
If we introduce optional cookies on the website or app, we will display a consent banner before activating them and update the cookie declaration at fixclin.com/cookies.
6.2 Cookie banner (when optional cookies are enabled)
When non-essential cookies are in use, a cookie banner will ask for your consent. You can accept all, reject all non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category. Your choice is saved and applied to future visits. You can change your preference at any time via the Cookie Policy page or the link in the Platform footer.
6.3 Browser settings
You may also manage or delete cookies directly through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies via browser settings will impair Platform functionality and may prevent you from logging in or completing transactions.

The Platform is not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly set non-essential cookies for minors. If you believe a minor is using the Platform, please contact support@fixclin.com.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform and by email to registered Users at least 14 days before they take effect. The updated Policy will be posted at fixclin.com/cookies with a revised effective date.
